How to refuel the three-jaw pneumatic chuck during maintenance?

The three-jaw pneumatic chuck of CNC Lathe is a machine tool accessory that uses the radial movement of three movable jaws evenly distributed on the chuck body to clamp and position the workpiece. Below the guide parts of the three jaws on the three-jaw chuck, there are threads that mesh with the plane threads on the back of the bevel bevel gear. Drive the three jaws to approach or withdraw from the center to clamp workpieces of different diameters.

The three-jaw pneumatic chuck needs to be maintained after use. When it comes to maintenance, you should think of refueling the chuck. When refueling, you need to use a grease gun. How to use the grease gun to correctly perform the oil filling operation?

1. Use the grease gun to refuel

(1) Unscrew the head of the grease gun from the barrel;

(2) Pull the piston to the top again;

(3) Insert the end of the opened butter tube into the tube;

(4) Re-screw the gun head and barrel;

(5) When the piston is pulled up, the inlet is lowered and repeated about 2-3 times, which is convenient for pressing the butter in the gun;

(6) Then shake the handle of the gun head to use refueling;

(7) If the grease gun does not work normally, there may be air in the gun. At this time, just unscrew the air release screw on the head of the gun to discharge the air.

2. Bulk butter

(1) Unscrew the gun head;

(2) Put the grease gun barrel into the butter completely to avoid inhaling air;

(3) Pull the piston rod up hard to make sure that butter has been injected into the barrel;

(4) Screw on the gun head and barrel, then pull up the piston and put it down to work.
